EVENTS: Track Cycling: Women's Team Pursuit and Ominium
Holly Edmondston grew into track cycling through her family in South Canterbury where cycling has rich traditions. She was nurtured and introduced to track cycling through her club and grew to love track racing.
Edmondston made her mark internationally with a medal in the Junior World Championships in Korea in 2014 but had her progress stalled by a significant back injury and illness. Now fully fit, she has grown to become an important member of the high-performance squad in the team pursuit and omnium. She played a key role in the team pursuit bronze medal at the World Championships in Poland in 2019.
