Biography
EVENTS: Diving: Men’s 10m Platform, 10m Synchronised Springboard
Having come from a rugby background, Luke Sipkes switched to Diving at the age of 12 having been identified by Auckland Diving via an Intermediate School recruitment drive.
After diving for only two years, Sipkes was selected as part of the 2018 World Juniors Team. Since then Luke has gone from strength to strength, and is currently the #1 ranked platform diver in the country (2022 Nationals).
At the World Championships and Commonwealth Games, Luke competed in the 10m Platform Individual and also the 10m Platform Synchro events.
Luke is currently studying a Bachelor of Business at Massey University in Auckland.
