Tim Slyfield

Glasgow was the second Commonwealth Games for Tim, a campaign that saw him come away with bronze in the 100kg men's division and further cement his place as a strong contender in international judo competitions. Tim joined fellow judoka Jason Koster on the podium for the bronze medal placing. The 39-year-old has moved up the weight divisions from his 81kg competition at the Manchester Commonwealth Games in 2002.

He attended the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games where he placed 18^th and then went on to earn bronze at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. Tim has a current World Ranking of 26^th and his Commonwealth Ranking is 3^rd for his weight category. Tim is the 2013 Hong Kong International Champion and placed 2^nd at the 2014 World Cup OJU.
