SKY Sport Brings the Olympics to NZ
During the 2012 London Olympic Games, SKY Sport will be offering unprecedented coverage for all domestic SKY Sport subscribers. SKY Sport subscribers will have access to five purpose-built Olympic channels (SKY channels 131, 132, 133, 134, 135) offering continuous live sport coverage 24 hours a day, each and every day of the Games. All five channels are simulcast in SD and HD. SKY will also offer a 24 hour Olympic News Channel (SKY Channel 139) as well as in depth behind-the-scenes interviews with New Zealand athletes, highlights from premiere events and medal winning moments. For SKY Sport MY SKY HDI and MY SKY+ subscribers with an HD access ticket and HD ready television, there will be additional access to three further HD channels (SKY Channels 136, 137, 138) offering live Olympic action, as well as Primes coverage in HD on SKY Channel 140. For free-to-air viewers, SKY will offer a level of Prime Olympic coverage around the clock never before seen in New Zealand. This includes a mix of live action and highlights, along with Prime News: First at 5:30 and the Crowd Goes Wilds unique spin on all things Olympic. Live streaming will be available with an account online at iSKY. The London 2012 Olympic Games will start on the 27th of July and finish on the 13th of August 2012.
