Two Kiwi women represented New Zealand in the freeski halfpipe qualifiers this morning

This morning the women’s freeski halfpipe qualifiers were held with two Kiwi women dropping in with the fern on their chest.

Chloe McMillan (Hamilton, 21) finished in 18th place after landing a solid second run.

“I am stoked to land my second run, I am so proud to be a New Zealander, I couldn’t be prouder to represent my country.”

Anja Barugh (Pukehina, 22) finished in 19th place, relying on her run one score after a crash on her left 540 on her second run.

This marks the end of Kiwi women in competition for the 2022 Beijing Olympic Winter Games.
