Biography

Alison competed at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, and the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Alison is our top freestyle sprinter - 100m and 200m freestyle. She reclaimed the 100m freestyle record, which she had broken three times previously, when she clocked 55.99s in Yokohama at the Pan Pacific Games 2002. She has represented New Zealand at two World Championships, in 1998 and 2003. Alison trains at the Millennium Institute in Auckland and will begin her Masters degree after the Games. She is a graduate of Massey University in Albany, and holds a PM Scholarship.
