Biography

Di, the Vice-Captain, is one of only five players in the National squad who have survived from the Sydney Olympic team of 2000.  She made a welcome return to international hockey in October 2005, coming back after a year off rehabilitating a hip injury.  She moved from Canterbury this year to Maketu, where she plays in the Tauranga Men’s Hockey competition to hone her skills.  She played in two Olympics, two Commonwealth Games, two World Cups and four Champions Trophies.
