Biography

Francie holds the important role of coxswain in the women's eight and attended her first Olympic Games in Rio 2016.

Francie was part of the women's eight that won a silver medal at the 2015 World Rowing Championships.

Originally hailing from Christchurch, Francie began her rowing career at Rangi Ruru School in 2005 but now lives in Hamilton and is coached by Dave Thompson. 

She is a member of the Canterbury Rowing Club.
