Biography

Gareth Brooks

Gareth debuted for the Black Sticks in 2002 and was a member of the 2004 Athens team who finished a creditable 6th. His career high is Athens, while his career low was losing to Great Britain at the 2006 World Cup. He is a striker who has a very high work rate that often includes multiple leads and is very solid in receiving the ball and passing. Gareth has recently relocated to Wellington and works as an accountant for BDO Spicers – BDO are also a major partner of WorldHockey. Outside of hockey Gareth enjoys water-skiing, surfing and hunting.
