Biography

Tokyo 2020 will be Ria's fourth Olympic Games.

In March 2020 she became the first Kiwi footballer to reach 150 appearances for her country, and is Aotearoa’s record appearances holder. An Olympics and World Cup veteran, the fullback and midfielder has appeared at eight major international tournaments.

Ria also became the first kiwi to play in an FA Cup Final at Wembley in 2019 with West Ham United, and currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur in the FAWSL, the club she supported since childhood, following spells at clubs in America, Canada, Germany and England.
