Richmond Lum

18-year-old Richmond will be representing New Zealand in Men’s Hockey at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games. He is a student at St Kentigern College in Auckland and is a member of the Auckland University Hockey Club. Richmond began playing at age eight and so far his sporting highlights have been winning the U21 Nationals and qualifying for the 2014 Summer Youth Games. His role models are Rafael Nadal, Leonardo Dicaprio, Tiger Woods, OJ Simpson and Bruce Lee and his favourite quote is, “Effort brings rewards.”
